Georgia / Mississippi State Basketball

Basketball is about momentum and runs. Every team is going to make a run at some point. The trick is to get the important shots you need out of the way first so you can focus on the swings of the momentum and who is going to win the game.

Desegregation Anniversary



January 9th marked 50 years since the first African-American students, Charlayne Hunter and Hamilton Holmes, were admitted to the University of Georgia.

50 Years Later, in the middle of a horrible snow & ice storm, Charlayne Hunter-Gault spoke about those times.

Snowpocalypse: The Day After

After 5 hours of sleep, it was time to get going and go back out into the snow. We woke up to nearly NINE inches of snow and there wasn't a bad photo anywhere.

Mode of transportation? Footware.

Education Ralley



A student eats during a Rally for Higher Education on the campus of the University of Georgia on Thursday, October 7, 2010. The rally was part of a planned national day of action to defend higher education to defend educational rights nationwide.

On October 7, there was an attempt for a "National Day of Action" for promoting higher education. A handful of people from the 36,000 enrollment University of Georgia attended a rally there.
