you're getting some really ugly vignetting in this and your next post.
I like it. The D700 can make it go away in-camera but i like the vignette look when its created naturally.
Its not a faded vignette though, it looks like your filter is sticking out too much and creeping into the frame.
That could be the lens hood. I opened the box from NPS 20 minutes before i shot this. There's no filter on it.
