Zombie Girl Attacks

This is my friend Lea. Every once in awhile, she dresses up like a zombie. This time i convinced her to let me photograph her in her art studio for 5 minutes.

I really liked the way this turned out. It creeps me out, which was the desired effect.

Tech Specs - 1/250th f/4. Orbis Ringflash using SB800 at 1/4 power on manual. High pass filter and desaturating layers overlaid.

Sad Recognition

So last week i get a call while I'm walking to another assignment about a possible triple shooting. This means i drop everything and head in the general direction until i get a specific location. All i knew was 3 people shot and it was a domestic shooting.

Skate Park Anniversary

Eleven-year-old Kaden Campbell is silhouetted against the sun at the skate park in Southeast Clarke Park on Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in Athens, Ga.

(Thats what ran in the paper as opposed to my artistic rendition. Yes shooting into the sun gives me a migrane.)

So they forced me to photograph at the skatepark as it just had it's 5th anniversary. (Next thing you know, they'll be forcing me to take a raise.) Thanks to 11-year-old Kaden Campbell, I've got a portfolio of skate photos.

So in the midst of the pollenocalypse, I went around town with just my lensbaby, trying to make something nice, just for myself.

Naturally, not having a regular lens bit me in the ass.
