Skate Park Anniversary

(Thats what ran in the paper as opposed to my artistic rendition. Yes shooting into the sun gives me a migrane.)
So they forced me to photograph at the skatepark as it just had it's 5th anniversary. (Next thing you know, they'll be forcing me to take a raise.) Thanks to 11-year-old Kaden Campbell, I've got a portfolio of skate photos.

One of the reasons I got into photography was to take pictures like Glen E. Friedman in the book "F*ck You Heroes." He covered skateboarding and the punk/rap scene around Los Angeles in the late 70s and early 80s. His music & skate photos are a big influence on how i approach both of those scenes. Basically, if the subject is extreme then the photos have to be as well. I mean
