Sursievision threw a CD release Party at Tastey World Saturday night.
Good show and fun had by all.
Tastey World has some funky lighting. Its very warm and the red really pops from inside there. Oversaturates horribly but looks great when it turns to black and white. So we went black and white. The light is nice at center stage but falls off rapidly. It makes getting other people in the band
Went with 3 lenses. 16 fisheye, 85/1.8 & a lensbaby wide open at f/2.
I still approach concerts with the idea of trying to get as many different angles, framing, looks as i can. Using the crowd, arms, catching the emotion and showing the artists as creatively as possible. Anyone can drop 3 or 4 grand on camera equipment and stand up by the stage. Me, I'm trying to get the artistry and show live music the way i think it should be shown.
