Commerce Tigers boys basketball coach Chad Bridges on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Commerce, Ga. Bridges was named Athens Banner-Herald boys basketball coach of the year.
How i did it after the jump.
Every once in awhile, you want to try something weird for the sake of being weird. So at the end of my portrait shoot for our basketball coach of the year, i pulled out the Orbis Ringflash and put on the fisheye. I saw something similar on Strobist so i felt like trying something in that vein.
Didnt quite work as planned. I had trouble keeping the sync cord plugged into the camera as i couldn't use the hot shoe for the pocket-wizards because the TTL cord was attached for the SB800.
Also firing was a 1/2 blue as a rimlight and a red to hit the rack of basketballs.
I plan on revisiting this at some point.
