Eric Holder at NAACP (laterpost)

I'm working in reverse order on my posts....

Last week I went to the NAACP convention for two days; the first day for Benjamin Todd Jealous and the second for Attorney General Eric Holder.

Some thoughts after the jump....

Now Ive photographed a few politicians in my day, from state governors to presidential candidates. I'm used to security from Georgia State Patrol to FDLE & Florida Highway Patrol to USSS.  For whatever reason, they really pushed the press back for Mr. Holder's speech and allowed us individually up to the "buffer" (the area referred to between the audience and the speaker) for about 30 seconds to a minute.  Thats pretty unheard of.

Anyways.... before the speech, I came across this in the lobby.
