Well if you follow me or what I've been up to over the past two weeks, I've seen a lot of punk rock. (Larry and his Flask. Go find it.) So it only seemed fitting now that my hearing is back to catch a quick six-song set by the girls in Shitty Candy as they played the 40 Watt as part of the Athens Music Collective's showcase.
The stage was crowded with other instruments which toned down their show a lot. Only once Circus Peanut was in attendance (no word if the other two were fleeing a hungry elephant). Interesting that only after 3 shows, I'm learning the words.
