For the second time in my life, my path crosses with skateboarding legend Tony Hawk.



Tony Hawk brought his birdhouse skateboarding team to the Athens skatepark on what would turn out to be the first day it has rained in over a month. The consummate good guy and showman, Hawk skated as long as he could - about 10 or 15 minutes in the light rain - before it poured & Hawk signed autographs for everyone who wanted one.

I got soaked but it was well worth it.
